Introduction: We are a full service Interior Design Firm. I have been designing Interiors for over 20 years. I established Revival Interiors, in 2012. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1996, I worked for a local Interior Design Firm. While working for that Design Firm, I had the opportunity to learn every aspect of my profession. It provided me with the exactly skills and knowledge I needed to venture out on my own. The things I enjoy most about being an Interior Designer are getting to know my clients, establishing a relationship and trust and of course, the end result.

Maureen was fabulous! We were a small job -- we relocated to Long Island and wanted to make our existing furniture work in our new digs. Maureen did a space plan, suggested the PERFECT paint colors, and offered ideas that helped make our new home so comfortable! Most of all, she LISTENED to how we live, and executed a design that fits us.

I own several Fitness Clubs which Maureen had designed over the years, so when it came time for me to put an extension on my house I once again referred to Maureens expertise. I wanted the existing space and the extension to flow. Maureen came up with a number of great ideas for relocate existing rooms and configuring the rooms in the extension to fit the needs of my family. In the end, because I did not want major construction to disrupt my family, I decided to keep the original flow of the house, with a few minor changes. During the construction Maureen stopped over several times to see how the extension was coming along and to answer a few questions. She also reconfigure the kitchen, select kitchen cabinets, new tile floor, paint colors, wallcovering and some furnishings. I enjoy working with Maureen because she listens and she is easy to communicate with, which makes the process enjoyable with a positive result.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new client is: Setting up an initial consultation, this is a method for both of us to determine if I am the right Interior Designer for them and their project and for me to determine if they are the right client for me. During the initial consultation, I will discuss a client's preferences, the scope of the project, what they would like to achieve and if they have a budget and time frame.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Cum Laude, with my Bachelors Degree from FIT in 1996.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
There are a few events that lead me to the field of Interior Design: 1. An internship in High School at a local Carpet and Flooring Showroom for Interior Designers only. 2. Constantly rearranging the furniture in my bedroom at my parent’s house. I think I rearranged it every other month. 3. My first semester report card, from FIT, all A's.
