The Art of Mixing

Introduction: A little bit about my experience and myself: I'm currently teaching Audio Engineering and Production to undergraduate students at The New School in New York City. As of recently, I was the Chief Sound Engineer/ Mixer at Skyline Studios in New York City. There, I worked on projects with world-class recording artists including: Jullian Lennon, Krs-One, Shakira, M.I.A, Pete Rock, Gov'™t Mule, Mike Stern, Marley Marl, Busta Rhymes, etc, In addition, i am the FOH Sound Engineer for Reggae and Alternative Rock artist Matisyahu, and have been touring around the world extensively with the band Gogol Bordello as their FOH engineer. I have also mixed and produced their best selling albums. I have been involved with a few side projects as well, including: Madonna's Filth and Wisdom film as the FOH engineer on set in London, and a world tour with Universal Latin artist Christian Castro. Over the past few years I have dedicated my time to building a Pro Tools HD-based recording studio located in Long Island City, with a waterfront view of Manhattan. I specialize in providing personal lessons on Protools, studio engineering, mixing and mastering.
