Introduction: "From mind, through hands, into the material" is my motto. I'm passionate about jewelry design, and I put my heart into every piece I designed and worked with. I'm not a traditionally trained bench jeweler, I graduated form New York University with Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, and I'm a GIA Certified Diamonds Graduates. When I was in college, I used to apply different medias to express my ideas and thoughts such as ceramic, drawing, photography, and painting, until I started to work with metals. When I'm working with metals, I'm always excited and passionate. I was trained by highly established jewelry artists Klaus Bürgel and Sayumi Yokouchi, and I'm currently working with Biba Schutz on her one -of-a-kind and edition jewelry collections. My multi-faceted skills and backgrounds enable me to turn every piece of jewelry work into an art that could last. Working on custom piece allows me to open to clients' ideas, and provide the best solution to fit his/her needs. The entire process is a problem solving challenge. As a jeweler, I think being able to transpose the beautiful fragments in life into a piece of crafted art is very meaningful. I'm very lucky to have this gift and to be able to share my side of the story through my jewelry

I was absolutely delighted to work with Chuang, and will be looking for any excuse to do so again. Chuang crafted a custom silver necklace for me. She made the process very easy - she drew up six possible designs, and had me pick my favorite. Then, she sent me pictures while she was making it and kept me updated on the progress. I had a concern once about how something was looking, and was scared to speak up, but she made it so easy! She just thanked me for the critique and immediately suggested two different ways to achieve the effect I was looking for. Chuang is professional, responsive, and very talented artist. I am so thrilled with my beautiful necklace.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge material costs plus hourly labor fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will email the customer and get more details about the project and then reply them with my estimated fees, which include material cost and labor. During my working process, I will email customer about the status of the work and let he or she know if there might be anything changes during the process. I will get paid after the customers receive the products.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
