- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
DISCOVERY PHASE-Interview, study, listen, & learn about client aspirations, goals, taste levels, objectives and dreams by sharing back and forth concept images of related spaces in order to develop and refine preliminary concepts and ideas as we move from general to specific design solutions......DEVELOPMENT-Project Programming, Presentations (to establish Client taste, style & requirements); Floor Plans, Schematic Renderings, Contract/Bid Documents (Working Drawings & Written Specifications)........PLANNING-Compliance, Budgeting and Project Phasing......EXECUTION-Finalize Revisions, Purchasing, Procurement, Management & Supervision & Delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to degrees in Banking and Finance, completed studies at the NY School of Interior Design, 2 years internship leading to a full time position for a major Hospitality Design Firm, followed by State NCIDQ qualification and Continuing Education Units in order to maintain professional status. I am also a 20 year Member of the ASID & Committee member of ASID NY METRO-Professional Development Committee, Architectural Digest-AD 360 Advisory Board, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Active participant with USGBC (US Green Building Council) including LEED AP certification.
