LOVE Modern Finishing Group! They did the staining and poly on a new stair case installed in our home. They work clean, start when they say they are going to be there and it looks wonderful. Simply one of the most professional and reasonably priced contractors on Long Island. These guys know exactly what they are doing when it comes to all stages of home remodeling. The Modern Finishing Group completed my new deck installation and a bathroom remodeling project in record time and under budget. Modern finishing group came to our house to put down a wood floor in our entire upstairs. They did a great job, were clean, and very professional. We have had them back to reinforce/repair our deck in the backyard and were again very pleased with the work they did. We highly recommend them. Great honest company.

Modern Finishing Group recently installed hardwood floors, moldings and trim on the entire second floor of my 4 bedroom colonial house in Holtsville. I absolutely love my new floors and feel like I am living in a brand new home! Their workmanship was excellent and their attention to the littlest detail was amazing. They did everything from moving furniture, ripping out existing flooring, installing, finishing, staining and leaving my home in clean, brand new condition. I would hire these outstanding professionals again and recommend them to anyone in need of home renovation or construction.

We had several projects completed by Modern Finishing Group they were very professional, courteous, and punctual. The work was completed in a timely manner and the quality was superb. The worksite was kept clean and neat through out the project. They kept us informed of any concerns and provided solutions to facilitate completion of the project. I would not consider it a complicated pricing system but 99% of the time I do need to come look at the job to give the most accurate estimate.
