I have a beautiful space in Bellmore (across from Mill Pond) called Fuel The Soul. 60 min $125 90 min $ 175 I've been a NY State Licensed Massage Therapist for over 16 years. My massage modalities include Medical, Pre/Post Op, Therapeutic, Scar Tissue Release (STRAIT Method) Amma Therapy, Pregnancy, Deep Tissue and of course, Relaxation Massage. I have experience working with clients with many different health challenges including; stoke, cancer, cerebral palsy, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, whiplash, bulging/herniated disks and scoliosis. I have been an adjunct faculty member of New York College of Health Professions in Syosset for over 12 years. I have taught numerous classes including Swedish Massage Technique and Medical Massage. I have been nominated 3 times as Long Island's BEST Massage Therapist. My husband and I own a Yoga and Wellness studio in Merrick called Fuel The Soul which has been a staple in the Merrick Community since 2010. My mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. I'm a firm believer in the connection between body/mind, I am a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believe in massage as a modality for enhancing overall health and well-being. I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and Certified in Thai Massage, Infant Massage, Kids Yoga and CPR/1st Aid. I went to Lauren for a deep tissue massage. I have a bad back and have been to a number of different masseuses before, but had never found one that I have stuck with. Lauren was extremely knowledgeable and professional. After telling her about my back issues, she suggested we try cupping as well as the deep tissue massage. I was hesitant at first because I have never tried cupping before but it was an amazing experience. She made me feel comfortable and gave me an incredible massage. My body has felt amazing in the days after the massage, and I will definitely be back!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 60 & 90 minute customizable massage treatments. In-Home (local, within 15 miles) 60 min $150 90 min $200 Please contact me for pricing if you are more than 15 miles from Merrick. You can also come to my studio in Merrick called Fuel The Soul. 60 min $100 90 min $ 150 I will incorporate passive and/or active stretching, deep breathing, acupressure, cupping, hydrotherapy, hot towels (studio), liniments & CBD salve as necessary during your 'custom' massage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we connect on Thumbtack, we will have a brief phone conversation about what you expect from your massage (ie type, duration etc...) You will receive an email confirmation from me with intake forms and waivers. **** The massage will be entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. If you can not agree to this, please do not contact me ***
