Speak to them and make sure they understand you and you feel confident in them. NEVER give money up-front. Meet them if at all possible and if you leave a machine with them delive it to where they are DO NOT let them pick it up. Feel comfortable and make sure the person knows the importance of what you need and any deadlines you must have met.
