Introduction: As personal trainers we occasionally get the clients who may just "want to shed a few pounds," "get toned," or maybe even train for a fitness competition. Sometimes we may work with someone who has never worked out before and just wants to learn how. Other times we see clients who are tired of feeling weak, tired, or out of shape. We may also see clients who are worried about their health and future because they are overweight. Since I became a personal trainer I have worked with all of these people. I have also worked with people who are going into surgery and want to be strong enough, or who are coming out of surgery and want to get their strength back. All of these clients are amazing to work with, but the most amazing and rewarding feeling is seeing your clients become more confident in themselves and their capabilities. Sometimes the hours are long and really early or really late, but seeing your clients faces light up, watching their self esteem improve, and hearing that "Wow! I can't believe I can do that now!" makes it all worthwhile. I can really say that I truly love my job and feel blessed to be able to positively impact the lives of others.
