Introduction: My name is Stephanie Blanc, and I am the Senior Event Designer & Planner, of Mariage Blanc Designs, based in Tri-State NY, where we service New York, New Jersey, & Connecticut. Mariage Blanc Designs, is an all-inclusive design & planning service boutique company that offers a wide range of high-end design & coordination services to ensure that clients' needs are meant on their special day. I am very well trained in the concept of design and coordinating, and I love what I do! Our aim is to transform a space and create a high-end and luxuriously chic, elegant, and memorable experience for your event. My background includes graduating Magna Cum Laude at the nationally accredited Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York, and I've been featured in notable event publications, such as The Coordinated Bride, Catch My Party, Kara's Party Ideas, and Itty Bitty Milestones. I bring passion, skill, and the ability to work with vast budgets. I am very well organized and hands-on, and I make my clients gain peace of mind because of this. Peace of mind, is essentially priceless! I'm not your typical "grab a few items at a party supply store" planner, and I take pride in my attention to detail, which is why I require a minimum of 3-5 months in advance for bookings. It takes months to design, plan, and coordinate these events. We book FAST and I want to provide my clients with top quality, which is why sufficient time to plan, organize, and purchase items is mandatory. Working with Stephanie was a terrific experience. She was punctual and professional straight through. She adjusted her schedule to accomodate changes in mine and I appreciate her for that. Stephanie and her team are by far the best! I have worked with them in the past, she had planned my Baby shower and I was so happy with her that I had to go back to her! She and her team did an awesome job on my son's Wild One Jungle Theme birthday party!! Everything was AMAZING and I LOVED the decor and OMG the giraffe, so cool. We loved the special touches that really made it feel like we were in a jungle. My son will def be happy to see these pictures when he gets older. You def took my vision and ran with it!! Everyone loved everything and we are so happy with how everything turned out. Hope to work with you again in future events!

I hired Mariage Blanc Designs to plan my husband's 40th bday party. The theme was 90's Hip/Hop & R&B and boy did Stephanie Blanc deliver. She took my idea and ran with it. She converted my backyard into an outdoor lounge that transported my guests and I back to the 90's. My husband especially was blown away. He loved everything.The details that Stephanie put into the design, on a short timeline at that, were awesome! From the faux brick back drops to the cookie pirouttes to mimic cigars to the turn tables where the cakes were placed...EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! Stephanie made my husband's 40th birthday party a truly memorable one. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to others or hire her for future events. She is that good!!

We hired Stephanie as our wedding planner for our wedding on 9/14/19 and am so happy we did. She was awesome to work with and always so helpful. She was always responsive and was there to give advice when needed. She helped make the planning process so much easier. She made sure everything went flawless the day of the wedding. Her and her team set up everything and took everything down after the wedding - I didnt have to worry about anything! I would definitely recommend her and her team :)

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system isn't complicated at all. Each event calls for specific services. We have 3 standard Event Packages for Weddings & Non-Wedding Events. I charge flat rates for each service requested/rendered. I then add customizations to the desired package based on the Client's responses off of the questionnaire sheets. Typically, Wedding Event packages start at a base of $2,500.00 depending on varying factors of each project (i.e. guest count, decor, how big is the event, etc.). Non-Wedding Event Packages start at a base of $895.00, $995.00, or $1,500.00 for labor. Ultimately, the total package charges are contingent upon the services requested, # of guests, # of hours needed for setup. Discounts are available for booking within the first 24 hours of receiving the proposal (6% for weddings and 3% for non-wedding affairs).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I speak to the potential Client via email and gain insight on what they need and their overall vision via my Client questionnaires. After the questionnaires are received, I then create an estimated proposal and send it to the Potential Client via email. If the Potential Client wants to proceed further, I then schedule a free 1 hour Courtesy Consultation Meeting, where I provide a visual montage and ideas for their event, based on what their answers to my questionnaires are. We'll also review the package in more detail and answer any questions they may have. Once I verify that the Client and I are all on the same page, we'll sign the proposal & contractual agreement at the Courtesy Consultation. We will reserve the event date for 3 days upon providing the proposal for the Client to review, sign, and submit along with a 50% non-refundable deposit at the Courtesy Consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Art Management from the nationally accredited Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. Prior to that, I graduated Magna Cumlaude and obtained an Associate's degree in Visual Presentation & Exhibition Design from there, as well. Finally, I have my Certificate in Wedding Planning from the internationally accredited ICOES.
