We had a great, professional experience with Marc photographing a commercial building.
Built in the 1960s, the building isn't the most beautiful architecture, so we came into the project with the idea of doing a twilight shot. Marc researched the site & advised we consider a dawn shoot because of the location/color of the building. He wasn't pushy but had reasonable suggestions & sent maps with proposed camera angles that made us confident to select his direction - he was definitely right.
He also did some Photoshop work to remove the signage on the building. I am not local, so we did everything via phone/email, and he willingly made adjustments per my requests.
He provided final photo files much in advance of our requested delivery date. We are extremely happy with his work & value - and would certainly use him again.

Working with Marc was a pleasure. He replied to our photography request on thumbtack. We needed various cityscape images for a new magazine in Fairfield County, CT. Through the entire process, from working out a schedule and a location list, through delivering images, he was more than professional. We never met in person--all correspondence was email or phone, but he exceeded all deadlines and expectations. In addition, his photographs were well-executed and everything we had asked for. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the high quality of photos that I provide to my customers. The minium fee to shoot a job would be $750. Additional labor for a longer shoot and the corresponding time to edit the photos would be charged at $150 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. I enjoy learning what is important to the customer and what their goals are for the photography. This would include understanding how my photos will help sell their services. This might include showing off an architect's design, an owner's real estate assets, or a manufacturer's building products. I learn a great deal from my customers each time I do a job for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a registered architect, I complete a minimum of 12-15 hours of continuing education each year. I am constantly reading about photography and watching tutorials to learn new skills in Photoshop and Davinci Resolve which is used for video editing.
