FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had an associates in communications and now on my BFA in film. I always do my research on the market for balloon art or event planning. I also practice everyday for my craft and I'm looking for more new experiences to challenge myself.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I can twist custom balloon dresses for 24 hours or more depending on how detailed it is. I do mostly entertainment, but I'm also open to other things. I make sculptures whether it's basic or difficult at children's or adult parties, for 1 to 3 hours and sometimes even more, if it's a big event. My price is negotiable but I won't go lower than $100 per hour and it depends on the services that you are proposing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that they are kind, approachable, good at communicating, use quality balloons, been in their trade for a while, and have a few pictures of their work online or at least have a website. Don't let them charge you through your credit or debit card online, only use Paypal or cash for safety precautions. If they offer card swipes on their mobile devices, let them, but make sure to take a look at the amount, don't get tricked. I usually only accept cash for my services and I only charge through PayPal for booking deposits.
