Introduction: Hi, my name is Irina and my life changed when I shot my first boudoir shoot about 10 years ago. That was the day I found my calling. Although what I do might look like a day of dress up and fantasy to some, what I really get to do is transform everyday women while creating art. I can usually notice the exact moment when a client is at that point of the shoot where inhibitions are gone and confidence shoots way up. They've let go of what others have said, what society deems perfect, and trust in me that I can show them in pictures what they are feeling at that exact moment. It is exactly through boudoir photography that I am able to take any woman and provide the opportunity to take the blindfold off and allow you to experience the beauty that is yours. Your pictures aren't just pigment on paper. They are the part of you that is usually hidden from yourself, and it's time you two met.
I love being able to get to know my clients and make them feel beautiful. I feel there's not enough of that in the world, especially among women. My space is a judge free zone where inhibitions can be left behind and it's not taboo to indulge in yourself and feel worthy. My favorite part is seeing that transformation - that moment where the client in front of me lets go and starts to enjoy the shoot. That's when she's past the initial nerves and when her confidence shoots up. That's the threshold I enjoy walking all my boudoir clients through.
