- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, there are minimum continuing education requirements (120 hours over a 3-year period) required by the CPA order.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into my line of work immediately after graduating from McGill's B.Comm. program (1996). I have worked for the Big 4 (EY, PwC), mid-sized public accounting firms and on my own account with clients that included some of the world's largest organizations (ex. Alcan, the Business Development Bank of Canada, Ivanhoé Cambridge, Shriners Hospital, Holcim, Abbott...), as well as local SMEs and charities.
