Introduction: As an executive editor for Britannica Educational Publishing and managing editor for Silver Moon Press, I have years' of experience writing and editing both fiction and nonfiction. With a professional background that includes writing and producing award-winning television promotions, I understand deadlines but strive for perfection in the time allotted. I am also a photographer, currently employed in a freelance capacity for The Writers Guild of America. Many of my images and their accompanying narratives can be seen online. Regarding the process, if you are in the New York City area, you and I can meet at a restaurant or some such place and then proceed via phone and Internet. If you're not near NYC, we can just chat on the phone or communicate via e-mail. I will write and/or edit within Word docs or PDFs, whichever you prefer. Photos can be shot RAW or as jpegs, and we can use an FTP site, or we transfer for large files. So, bring it in and let's begin!

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Killcoyne work as my editor on two published oeuvres...a children's book and introductory essay. She was a consummate professional and offered insightful critique while leaving room for creative expression. I look forward to working with her on future projects!

Hope edited a book I wrote for Silver Moon Press a few years back. I enjoyed the process of working with her. The feedback I received was insightful, clear, encouraging, and on-point. I was in full agreement where there were holes in the storyline that needed to be addressed--but I was also given the freedom to figure out my own solutions. If the opportunity presented itself, I'd be happy to work with Hope again on future projects.
