I have been very pleased with Dustin Kaufman Music. Right off the bat, he took the time to listen to my story and with that, he matched me with my coach, Whitney, and we clicked. Then, he took the time to check in with me a couple weeks later, and he remembered our conversation. He still checks in a couple months down the road! As far as the lessons go, I have been having a great time. My coach, Whitney has an impressive range and I have enjoyed learning from her. She is always on time for our meetings (even when I am not) and never judges me (even when I know I am off key). She always finds a way to explain abstract concepts into ways I can understand and gently push me out of my comfort zone. Most importantly, however, is that it is clear from our interactions that she genuinely loves teaching. She makes this known by answering all of my random email questions about music theory. Dustin and his whole crew have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I have not worked with another vocal coach but I believe this one is top notch. I could not imagine it being better.

My 7 year old son has been studying with Dustin for a year on the drums. As a former professional musician, I couldn’t be happier about both the results of his lessons in terms of theory and performance. But more importantly at a young age he is having so much fun, because Dustin is a great communicator and has been able to connect with my son and choose songs that he loves. We are loving the lessons with Dustin and give him top marks all around! Thank you, Dustin!
