- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on how far I have to travel, my rate might have to go up for travel expenses/fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start out by giving my students fundamental exercises to introduce them to the drums if they’re new to playing or enhance what they already know if they’re more experienced. Once I get a better understanding of how the student plays, I then create a lesson plan to cater to whatever the student needs to work on in order to develop they’re own approach to the drums.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been many different private lessons, summer camps, and after school conglomerate bands over a period of 14 years. I also played in my school orchestra, marching band, and jazz band in elementary school, junior high, and minored in music in high school. As well as a 3 years majoring in drum performance in college before leaving to work on my career as a freelance drummer and teacher full time.
