It ranks first in my mind that each wedding is a unique combination of elements, and my goal is to create photographic and cinematic record that capture it and expresses your vision. My approach combines wedding photography with my whole experience as a photographer: photo journalism, editorial, fashion, music, landscape, architecture and fine-art.
I will provide you with a wide range of images of the highest quality, from candids to posed portraits, aimed at enhancing the beauty and magic of your event.
Whether it is a few guests, or a few hundred, I take the utmost care in documenting the entire experience, and carefully cultivate and craft the raw material into fine images, with the shortest possible turnaround (never more than 30 days).
You can book one photographer or a more extensive package which can include additional shooters, as well as drone photo and video. You may also want to live-stream your wedding for guests who may not be able to attend in person.
I also offer same-day preview, for the unforgettable experience of showing the day’s highlights at the evening reception, or I can deliver a short highlight video to Instagram/social media at day’s end.

Sal is fantastic. We hired him to photograph my in-laws 20th wedding anniversary vow renewal a few weeks ago. To say we were happy with his professionalism and his work would be an understatement. We have worked with my photographers before and Sal is now the only one we will use. He had such fantastic ideas about different photos we could take and how to stage them. One with all the kids and grandkids all with our feet in the pool was our absolute favorite. He did such an amazing job capturing our family and we will be forever grateful.

Salvatore provided us with better photos than we could have imagined. Our wedding was a DIY event that moved from outdoors to indoors at the last minute due to rain. Salvatore showed up prepared with everything necessary to capture some truly great moments. He was un-intrusive in general, but knew when and how to direct guests to get the best images. We have some amazing small group candids from throughout the day, as well as some big, fun ensemble shots from key moments.
At one point when the rain broke, we decided to have a spur-of-the-moment first dance outdoors on a small pavillion we had put together over the course of the year. Salvatore not only captured some touching photos in the new environment, but even climbed up on some garden risers to get some fun action shots of the entire guest list mid-jump.
Not only did he do an excellent job capturing the big day, but he stayed later than he needed to, getting some shots of family & friends karaoke. It was a very dark room, (lit for cozy ambience) but Salvatore was prepared with his appropriate experience and equipment.
We're more than fully satisfied with our wedding photos, and highly recommend SCPhotography for those events you wish to cherish forever.

Hello, this is a review for SCPhotography regarding a wedding reception in central New Jersey. From the beginning Salvatore was accommodating and met my mother and I to discuss his portfolio and photography style. He was clear about his services offered and gave a fair quote.
On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to set up in the venue and ensure everything went well. There were some hiccups at the location which he dealt with professionally---as the bride and his demeanor helped to keep us calm throughout the night.
He showed he was both skilled and personable. He payed attention to every guest and family member--I know he captured the atmosphere and feel of the night through his photography. I have not seen the photos yet, but I have no doubts that they will be beautiful. I even had family members tell me that they stopped taking photos on their phone that night because the photographer was capturing everything they would've wanted. I hired Salvatore for my Mehndi party and was very impressed by the pictures he took. He was very responsive and was even able to come a little earlier than originally contracted to accommodate my event. He was able to capture the most incredible pictures of the ceremony.

He is such an awesome photographer! We hired him for our wedding and he took some beautiful pictures and I haven’t even seen all of them yet. ( wedding was a few days ago ). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I understand budget is an important element that can potentially determine the decision to hire me and therefore, in front of a reasonable request, I am open to work with my clients on budget issues.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the quote has been viewed by the customer, I send a thank you message and schedule a meeting/call, or simply answer additional questions...I want to hear their ideas so that can render their vision.
I also discuss in detail the logistics, schedule of the day, etc: knowing these practical details ensures that I can work efficiently.
When the client decides to book us, and we sign the contract, we accept the retainer fee.
Although with flexibility and always open to accommodate last minute changes, all details are then streamlined in the contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a photographer and a photo editor, I have worked for CBS, Nickelodeon, High Note Records and Positone Records, and I have freelanced since 2003 as a portrait, live performance and event photographer for various clients.
Since 2007 I have been doing also landscape and architecture work and I decided to start doing wedding in 2015, as a way to express my creativity by combining all my previous experience. When doing weddings, all my previous experience comes together.
I took courses of photography in Italy, and of digital manipulation and lighting at the ICP School of Photography, in NYC. I also hold a master degree in Political Science.
