City Wing Tsun

Introduction: WingTsun (pronounced "wing chun") kung-fu is a practical and very direct system of Chinese martial arts. It is unique because it is the only system of martial arts created by a woman with the unique purpose of fighting stronger and larger attackers rather than relying on the usual "block + punch" routines of the classical martial arts. WingTsun focuses on training more intelligent responses to aggressive situations. The foundations of WingTsun are angles, natural movement, and timing which is a sharp deviation from the traditional styles that modeled many of their movements from strength-intensive routines or on animals. WingTsun is based on human body mechanics and logic rather than on blind tradition. WingTsun is by practice untraditional – a maverick among Chinese kung-fu styles.
