Introduction: Emily Katz is a professional makeup artist based in New York and New Jersey. My pricing reflects the professional products I use.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For my brides, I typically ask clients to send me inspiration photos and I work with them to come up with a desired look. After the client signs the hire agreement, I offer a in-person makeup trial for $50 where we finalize the look.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy 6-month Master Program where I trained in beauty & editorial makeup, special effects, and face & body painting. I was the recipient of the Academy's "Excellence in Stage & Artistic" Award.
