Learning to play guitar in my late forties, with absolutely zero prior experience in music (theory or practice), started off as a naive project during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. I would have failed miserably, had I not been lucky enough to meet a fantastic teacher like Giuseppe. We have been meeting regularly for several years, and I cannot recommend Giuseppe highly enough. He is patient but challenging, his music culture is apparently limitless, and his meticulous attention to minute details about position and movement (of the hands, fingers, wrist, ...) often leads to solving the issues I am been struggling with at the moment. He can teach all styles and genres, and he has taught me a lot of theory too. My progress is slow because of my age and of how little time I can devote to practice, but I have gone from to zero to playing guitar for fun by myself or with family and friends, which is what I wanted to be able to do. My lessons with Giuseppe are always something I look forward to. Thank you Giuseppe!

Giuseppe is very flexible and patient. He easily accommodates a range of genres, difficulties, and techniques. Lessons are paced to preference.

I had a very positive experience with Giuseppe - he was very thorough and diligent in his teachings, not to mention encouraging and warm. I always appreciated his specific feedback and suggestions; he was readily accessible outside of lessons as well. He came prepared with modified versions of the songs I wanted to learn to match my level, and was very methodical in his teaching approach. I ultimately felt prepared to make recordings of the songs we worked on for my graduate school applications.

Giuseppe has been my guitar teacher for almost two years. I started from a beginner level and I have learned a huge amount from him. He is clear, rigorous, very patient and infallibly good humored. He makes learning enjoyable by allowing his students the freedom to pursue the type of music they prefer, while always maintaining a focus on technique and imparting a wide range of theoretical knowledge. I highly recommend him.
