I'm a Certified Pilates Mat and Reformer instructor and I'm excited to work with you to help you achieve greater flexibility, strength, and stability through Pilates.
I work with individual clients in their own homes or via Zoom to provide specialized exercise programs for participants with a variety of physical challenges and limitations.
I also have certification in Pre/Post-Rehabilitation Specialization. This means that if you are recovering from an injury and have completed physical therapy, I can help you continue your road to recovery with a safe and effective exercise plan. I also understand how to tailor a fitness routine for clients with chronic illness.
My clients have been beginners through advanced practitioners from 15 - 80 years of age. I enjoy helping clients discover the real benefits of Pilates Mat exercises. I'm meticulous in my coaching and upbeat! I believe it's important to teach clients with a supportive and positive approach.
Chronic upper body and lower back pain led me to explore a number of fitness and healing modalities. Pilates has helped me to reduce my pain and increase my strength and mobility after experiencing chronic back issues. I truly enjoy introducing others to all the benefits Pilates has to offer.

I love Yvette's Pilates virtual classes! She has a playful, yet professional way of guiding the class through a series of exercises that are tailored to the needs of the individual. As a beginner, it was invaluable to book some private sessions in order to feel comfortable and confident in moving through the group classes. I've taken her classes consistently for a few months, and the nagging sciatic nerve pain has subsided as well as a sacrum ache that plagues me at times. It has improved my overall sense of well being and I feel balanced, satisfied and calm after the class. I give Yvette five stars as an instructor and motivator!

I participate in Yvette's live, online Pilates classes twice a week. Yvette offers each of us individual guidance as needed while keeping the whole class moving. I love how she varies the routine to keep it interesting! She is encouraging and has a great sense of humor and keeps me motivated. I never miss a class! Since I've been attending the classes, and therefore stretching my whole body and strengthening my core, I have not had the lower back pain and shoulder pain that have sent me running to the physical therapist in the past.
