FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I learn more about student's goals and struggles. I look at the old exams, and ask about the class. Then we develop a plan of success together. I believe that the key to doing well on any kind of exam is a lot of practice, grouped with hard work and motivation. That is why I try to encourage my students by making subjects fun and exciting while emphasizing the values of hard work and patience. As I explain subject concepts, I ask a lot of questions and go through many problems with my students to make sure they have a good grasp of the subject. I know for a fact that mistakes are an essential part of our learning and do not discourage my students from making them. My approach relies on a lot of encouragement, understanding and patience.

I an NYU Honors Graduate in Chemistry and Psychology
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I double majored in Chemistry and Psychology at NYU, not knowing what is it exactly that I wanted to do with my career. After graduating, and while working at a consulting company, I started to tutor as a side job. Soon I realized I really love tutoring, and made it my full time job. A few years later, I created a company called Transformation Tutoring.
