- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate their voice and technique and design a program for them. I like my students to practice and dedicate themselves. I teach the classical singing technique, the Italian bel canto school mixed with my views of vocal pedagogy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always have my own voice teacher and I am looking into pursuing a Phd in Education in voice. I enroll in voice teachers workshops, read the latest literature on voice technique, subscribe the "journal of singing" and I am always looking into complementing my knowledge with other fields of study like psychology and yoga, for example. I'm am member of the National Association of teachers of singing and often do intense workshops.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Teaching is a gift that was revealed to me. I didn't pursue it, it found me.
