- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Visual Communication and Commercial Photography in 2010, but I'm constantly challenging myself to keep learning about photography. I attend workshops on wedding and portrait photography regularly, as well as workshops on the latest editing techniques. I worked as a producer for a retouching studio, as well as for an advertising photographer, where I learned new methods for editing, retouching, lighting, and posing subjects. I also took a two-month intensive filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy in 2012, which lead to the creation of our "wedding highlight reel" videos.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our focus is on weddings, elopements, and portrait photography. For weddings and elopements, we also offer videography, making "wedding highlight reels." These are 1-2 minute short films of various aspects of the wedding day, cut to music.
