Originally from Indiana, I'm now based in Manhattan, where I live with my wife, Rosalie, and our cat, Ramsay. I have a formal background in theater and have been immensely privileged to work and train all over the world.

My husband and I are both introverts, so when it came to choosing a photographer for our small wedding, we knew we needed someone who would make us feel comfortable and at ease. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An authentic connection is my goal. The first step is always to set up a meeting in person, via video, or by phone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a BFA from Millikin University. Through my work with theater and dance professionals I was introduced to the world of photography and film and soon consumed every class on either I could find. I have been a director for over a decade and have an eye for composition and what makes an image beautiful.
