Working with Lexi and RIcardo was an absolute joy! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, turned us into dance pros, all while having fun. They were so flexible and made sure all our needs were met. Each week we looked forward to our dance sessions, and each week we left with “homework”. I think recording us at the end of each session was a fantastic strategy so we could see ourselves to make improvements, and also to remember the steps. We did the Dirty Dancing dance during the reception as a surprise to our guest, and EVERYONE was absolutely blown away!!! We highly recommend anyone from beginners to pros to take lessons with the Wedding Dance Whisperer and I promise you will not be disappointed!!! Lexi is an incredible dance teacher and choreographed the perfect first dance for my husband and me for our wedding! My husband and I worked with Lexi to choreograph the first dance for our wedding and it was such a pleasant experience! Lexi was very flexible when we had to reschedule last minute due to unforeseen circumstances and she was so understanding. Her choreography was so easy for us to follow along even though we’re both beginners but it was very visually appealing which our guests paid endless compliments after witnessing the dance. In a nutshell, we highly recommend working with Lexi and she will make sure you look your best on your special day!

I always make sure to talk to the couple before we go over pricing to see what they are expecting and how many lessons they may need/want. There are so many different factors that go into choreographing a first dance!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always make sure that we listen to what the couple wants and to make sure to deliver a dance that shows their personalities and love! We look at it as a collaborative process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified ballroom instructor and have worked at the top ballroom studios in NYC before branching out on my own! In addition, I have a Bachelor of Music and Dance from the Chicago College of Performing arts.
