Introduction: I work primarily in a photojournalistic style. Most of the couples who hire me do so because they are seeking an alternative to the traditional portrait approach, and they like what I do for them. My passion lies in documenting your activities with little interference to tell the story of your day by showing the activities, interactions and emotions taking place among the people involved. Your pictures will be unique because they'll show the touching moments that occur throughout the day between you and your fiance and your friends and families. You'll see the natural smiles, frowns, laughs, hugs and tears that can't be captured in a series of posed pictures, and you'll be able to relive your wedding for years to come in photos that not only depict the activities but also reveal the atmosphere and emotions felt throughout the day. I do, however, photograph the couple, bridal party and family groups, known as the "formals", in a more traditional portrait style as a courtesy to the bride and groom. I will also do a fun session with the bride and groom and even the whole wedding party, as long as everyone is actively involved in these sessions. In fact, I'm always willing to try any specific poses you request. I have clients every year who hire me for my photojournalistic style, but who have specific requests for posed pictures, and I have fun doing them.
