FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to give pricing based upon distance traveled and complexity of work to be performed. The hourly rate is just a base. Certain equipment used along with quality of work to be received will adjust that rate. Competitive pricing, quality work and great service are what we are after.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understand in greater detail about the job to be accomplished than what is listed in the app. Then as the job is being performed, see if there are any corners to be cut and save the client money while maintaining the quality that they expect. When everything is complete, make sure that the client is happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For home inspections, formal training was received at Molloy College. This included hours of field training before qualifying to apply for licensure. In regards to any handyman services performed, there were years of small jobs performed as a 2nd profession.
