- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We make it simple, we just charge for what is wrong with your machine. No flat fees that covers everything. Each machine is looked over, and a written estimate is given. We Never raise it if we find more wrong later. We have repaired and so many machines to Great grandmothers, then daughters and grand children. We sometimes feel like dinosaurs we see so many people grow up so fast.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are at the cutting edge of sewing. We are always in training to bring back the very best classes for our customers Just a few. - How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into it. I grew up over my fathers sewing machine store on Jamaica Ave in Richmond Hill NY, We spent most of our time working and helping out at the store. He took us into factories to fix Industral machines It was a great learning experience and my Dad 's customers were his family of friends, as we are. We are entering into our 3rd generation of sewing machine stores.
