The Behavior Barn

Introduction: The Behavior Barn is a dog training facility offering positive, reward based dog training classes for dogs of all ages. Also offering behavior modification in a one on one setting. Our group classes are 6 weeks long and include all basic behaviors, good manners including AKC certification curriculum for S.T.A.R Puppy and Canine Good Citizen. We also have advanced classes, tricks class and clicker classes. Private session are tailored to the need of the dog owner. These are best suited for people with busy schedules or dogs with behavior issues such as dog aggression, reactive behaviors, jumping, pulling, stealing food, bolting and much more. I have been training dogs for 18 years and this is what I have always wanted to do full time. There is nothing better than knowing that you are able to help a family in crisis with a unmanageable dog. Or, prevent a dog from being relinquished to a shelter for correctable behaviors. Then there are the puppies, who grow and develop into amazing good citizens who help children and adults in a therapy setting. I remember every dog I have trained and when I see them, even after a year or more, they always remember me. This is the best job on earth!
