I'm a first time user on Thumbtack and had a great experience. Needed someone to regrout my master bath shower because the tiles were coming away from the wall and water was getting behind them. Heard back from Frank soon after I posted and had him out a day or two later. He spent some time looking at my shower wall and then started telling me what he would do to fix it. I felt confident that he understood the situation and had the experience necessary to fix it. He gave me a verbal price there and sent a written estimate the next day.
I wound up seeing two other repair people afterwards but didn't feel they were nearly as competent so I went with Frank.
Frank and his partner Shawn showed up on the scheduled day 15 minutes early which is always a good sign. The job wound up being more involved in both time and materials but they stuck with their estimate and my wife and I are very happy with the results. They were thorough, neat and polite, all important qualities when you have someone working in your home.
I would recommend Frank and Shawn from the Grout and Tile Experts.
