FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard rate but it does fluxuate depending on the work performed and the difficulty of the project. Electrical would be a higher rate than framing and not all jobs are the same.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Schedule an on site meeting to discuss the scope of work and obtain the information to provide an accurate quote. I work very close with the customer and make suggestions to possibly reduce costs or suggest where the best material prices are available without compromising quality. I have even met customers at a builder's supply to assist with choosing materials, fixtures and finishes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a contractor and I began at a young age learning the trade. I attended BOCES Vocational school for electrical, carpentry & masonry. I have over 35 years experience in the carpentry trade.
