I am beyond impressed with Michael's job! I rescued my pit over 2 years ago and have had problems since I got her. Within weeks we knew we had a problem when she was growling at everything, clearly was an abused case. I went from trainer to trainer with all of them telling me to euthanize my dog. One guy charged me $700 and after a couple weeks failed my dog. A friend of mine recommended Michael and I'm so glad I called him and didn't give up. It's only been a month and I'm already seeing a drastic drastic difference. I know it's going to take time, but that's something I'm willing to do. I am beyond impressed with Michael and his amazing attention to detail. Highly recommended, hands down!

Where do I begin? My husband met Mike randomly at Lowe's. While discussing lawn care and other things, Mike shared he was a dog trainer. My husband then shared about our rescue American Eskimo, Duf. He's a senior dog with some aggression/anxiety issues. Mike suggested the free consultation to get a feel for what was going on. Upon meeting and interacting with Duf, Mike could tell he needed a little tune-up and thought he would do well with training. We finally started training with Duf in April, 2015. We started with five sessions. Mike works quietly and effortlessly to assess the dog's energy, the owner's energy, and the home's energy. Then he builds his training around that energy. He explains what he's doing and then shows you how to do the training yourself. In the first session, we were amazed how well Duf responded to the training and how responsive he was by the end of the session. Mike is teaching us to understand Duf too. Duf is not the only trainee in these sessions. We've worked on sit/stay while we open the door for guests, foot aggression/protection of me, car anxiety/excitement, and some other little tricks. We have one session left and I'm excited to see what else we can do with and for Duf. He's a different dog (to quote Mike) than when we first started working with Mike. We even boarded Duf with Mike while we were on vacation recently. I cannot say enough great things about Mike and his training abilities. He cares about dogs. He cares about my dog and that is evident in his interaction with Duf. Duf is very food motivated and we did 98% of the training without food! He also cares about us as Duf's owners. If there were 10 stars to check, I would do it. Mike is amazing and I have recommended him several times to my work colleagues. You will not be disappointed if you have Mike work with your dog!
