- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We do flat fee pricing so that there are no surprises down the road for the client. Our main goal is to provide the best level of service and to create a relationship which may lead to future work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We offer free advice and meet as a way to see if we are the right fit for the clients needs. My wife jokes that I talk many out of doing construction because sometimes it's not the best solution to a problem. If the client decides to move forward, we laser measure existing conditions, build a 3D computer model. Precision avoids mistakes later. Then we prepare unlimited design options so that the client can explore on paper all possible ideas instead of making expensive changes during construction. While it may seem like allot more work, it actually reduces headaches of how to adjust all systems designed for something else. Not to mention keeping our budget on track. We get proposals from multiple engineers and bring on board the best suited for the work. Then we send the architectural & engineering drawings to bid to 3 or 4 contractors, some from the client and some from us to make sure we get the most competitive pricing. Once the project is awarded, we do regular site visits to inspect the quality of the work.and make sure the client doesn't release funds before the work is performed. On time and on budget makes for a happy client for life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Both Partners graduated from Tulane University's School of Architecture (a design focused school) with Bachelors or Architecture & Masters Of Architecture Degrees.
