"Eric is very cool and very good at the drums." Student: Marco 6 yrs. old Eric is very patient with instructing Marco. In four short months, Marco can already make cool beats on the drums especially when he practices the way he should. He keeps the lessons structured and adds a little fun as well. We look forward to the progress and potential Marco shows with the expertise of Mr. Eric Wagner. Maria - Marco's mom :-) Happy Teacher Appreciation Week Eric! We really appreciate you. You rock!!!!!

To top it off, I am left handed! Eric has no problem teaching me the opposite of how he drums, not an easy task. I live on the other side of the Hudson River and travel to Poughkeepsie to take lessons from Eric. As every good student should do, I explored my options as it relates to other teachers. First, Eric is the only teacher that has a studio (not in his house). It is nice to go to quiet place with good acoustics with no distractions. Other "teachers" either have you go to their house or put you in the back of a store. These other teachers do not spend time with their students teaching their students how to read music, they dwell more on teaching you how to play a song. Their "teaching sites" had horrible drum kits; some only had an electric drum set in rooms the size of a mouse trap. Eric believes in teaching the foundations of drumming and branching off from there. He is a true professional and spends money (reinvests in his business) to update his studio with proper equipment. Eric is a very nice person who believes in himself and teaches with confidence and poise. I highly recommend Eric to beginners and all drummers who want to expand their knowledge of drumming." Cliff F. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Eric Wagner is a fantastic drum teacher. He really introduced me to everything that being a drummer had to offer. He got me reading music, playing all different styles, working on my coordination, interpreting lead sheets, and working on the most important thing as a drummer, your pocket. Also, he really helped me prepare for my audition to get into Berklee College of Music, where I have been studying drumset, composition, and production for the last 3 years. I definitely recommend Eric to anyone who is interested in really diving into the art of drumming!" Josh C. - Current Berklee College of Music Student --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Studio Located at Vincitore's Piano Center in Poughkeepsie/Arlington . I teach drums for a living. Over 40 lessons a week. I perform drums for a living. I work kids to adults and everyone in between. Life is good. I'm a lucky man. What's not to like?
