Abby's yoga teaching is absolutely amazing in how she not only caters each class to the specific needs and abilities of the students who are present, but she also includes just the right amount of actual teaching -- she perfectly blends a smooth flow that is both relaxing and invigorating with thoughtful insights and explanations!

I have completed a 200hr yoga teacher training with Abby and I must say that I was very impressed with her dedication to learning, and her ability to lead the group during practice teaching sessions. Abby is thoughtful, considerate of the needs of each student in class, and clearly very excited about sharing yoga with the world!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Abby. It was my first time using this site and I defintely do not regret it. Not only was she attentive to the areas of my body that needed the most support, she also provided a warm and friendly atmosphere for me to feel open about my concerns and the things I would like to improve on daily with my body. I am happy to continue to work with Abby, and you should not miss out on having her support!

Abby is an amazing beginning yoga teacher. She takes her time with students who need extra help, and takes the time out to teach about yoga philosophy and the positioning of the different asanas. Wonderful experience with her. I also appreciate her mind, politics and open demeanor. She's wonderful to have a conversationw ith after class!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Oh yes! True yoga teachers will tell you that they are also lifelong students. I continue to practice with highly-trained teachers in the area in various traditions to learn and synthesize different styles and approaches. I am an avid yoga reader, and I also work as a publicist for a yoga teacher and author of a book on yoga and trauma which keeps me very involved in several yoga communities.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Yoga found me:)
