- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently becoming enrolled in a hair styling class, lash extension class, and a spray tanning class. I am doing this purely for the fact to make me a one stop shop. I want to be able to provide each and every one of you with the best experience possible, and make it less of a hassle for you to hire 2 or more people, when you can hire one person that can do it all. I currently do simple hair styling.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love of make up, fashion, and living healthy has always been a huge part of my life from an early age. I believe that what got me into my line of work was understand that makeup is a key. A gateway into creating yourself to be who you really are.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is VERY important to get a consultation, specially for big events and bridal. I cannot even count the times where I've seen an unsanitary makeup artist hired. Artists not cleaning brushes between uses, not using disposable mascara wands or lip wands. Not using hand sanitizer every time they touch something that is not your skin or makeup. You don't want someone using a mascara wand on someone who has an eye infection on your eye! Just please be careful! But your health first!
