Emily worked very hard to ensure each member of our Yoga class had all of their needs met and was extremely responsive to our individual needs.Dec 11, 2017
I had my first yoga lesson with Emily and just loved it. She was so professional, kind and encouraging. I was able to comfortably talk to her about what I needed, she listened and then directed our session to address my issues. I am looking forward to more lessons with Emily and a new way of life. I am so happy.Aug 12, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A one-on-one 60 minute session is $60. I also offer small group and discounted package rates. For more information please visit my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 2,000 training hours in yoga, dance, martial arts and bodywork. I received my Bachelor's degree in Yoga and 1000 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Naropa University in 2007. I've also served as a Yoga Program Consultant for studios and health clubs in New York and Colorado. These experiences formed the basis of my Personal Yoga training system.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I recently had the pleasure of offering a private session to a client in Manhattan. This person was struggling with addiction issues as well as ADHD and wanted to try yogic breathing. We went to a park by the river and went through a few basic exercises for relaxation and practiced the Full Yogic Breath. It was remarkable to observe the change that occurred in such a short period of time. Afterwards we talked about the heightened sense of awareness that we experienced (noticing the light and details of nature around us). I was especially pleased because I knew how scared this person was to try a new practice, but they met their resistance and accomplished their goal.
