Introduction: The art of photography has intrigued me ever since I was a young child. Since 2003 I've been a professional photographer based in Rochester, NY. My previous corporate experience in sales and marketing gives me a unique insight into telling a story through creative images. I specialize in weddings, events and portraits. The biggest honor a person could give me is when they trust me to be their photographer.
When photographing weddings and other events, I like to catch the moments between the moments. I enjoy being somewhat invisible and unobtrusive. My clients often compliment me on my ability to capture details or happenings throughout the event that they weren't even aware of. I'm skilled at creating traditional/posed images too. When I do portraits, my goal is to showcase my client's personality in the images we create. I enjoy the variety my career gives me. I've met & photographed many different kinds of people in venues throughout New York. My work can be seen on the covers of several local & national magazines. I look forward to learning about your photography needs.

This was my first experience hiring a professional photographer and Denise exceeded all expectations that I had. I was working with my friend, to plan a surprise engagement for his fiancée. Denise's friendliness and excitement to capture this special moment is the reason why I chose her. From the beginning, Denise was responsive and extremely accommodating of all our plans. She arrived early to the location and was 'undercover' before the engagement in order to capture all the events leading up to the special moment. Denise was able to organize and position a large group to capture a picture that my friends will treasure forever. Denise even stayed after the engagement to continue taking pictures of us as we completed our day at the winery. Not only did the pictures come out amazing and professional, but we all now have a new friend! Thank you Denise for making this such a great experience and we look forward to seeing you in the future!

Denise is wonderful to work with not only does she take quality photos that are beautiful to look at but she is super kind. She takes time to listen to you and we had great conversations through email of our needs for the photo shoot and where we should take them. She followed up with each step and was super sweet to my kids that have different abilities. My daughter with down syndrome wasn't being cooperative but you could never had known that with Denise's positive attitude and continual effort for a good photo. We worked at it for an hour and we got 94 awesome photos. It was so hard to pick just a couple. Denise was constantly giving updates via email on timelines and gave us great timing to deliver our Christmas cards. I hope to be able to have her take our photos again in the future and highly recommend her services to others.
