The original contractual price included 3 gallons of Behr Sealer/Paint. Three days before the beginning date, I received an email requesting 4 gallons. Given Mr. Camaranna's price and. Rating: I did not argue with him. However, the only reason he got the job was my age (91). While in my twenties, I had six years of painting tracts of housing, carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. The sealer/paint cost me $248 (Tax incl.). When he finished the job, there were two unopened gallons; that was $124, which was an overrun. I suggested that he put a third coat on my deck. He said he had another job to go to. He also said he would try to convince future clients to use the paint. That seems a pretty lame answer. He should have offered to refund the fourth gallon, not mentioned in the contract.
