- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Notary pricing is contingent on location and number of documents being signed. I do not charge for the notarization, but I do charge a Mobile Travel fee. Discounts are available for 1st time customers as well as returning customers. Ask me about any available discounts, when inquiring about Notary services! Bookkeeping pricing is on a case by case basis, dependent on the client's needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When the customer first reaches out to request a notary service appointment, the first step is to determine if I may legally notarize the document. I ask that all customers provide the type of notarization they need as well as the title & page count of the document(s) they need notarized. Once I determine if I may be of service, I ask the customer to provide an ideal date, time, and location for the appointment. At this time, I advise the client of what my fee would be for the appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Notary education/training: I have been trained & certified by the National Notary Association. I also have worked in the Real Estate / Title Insurance industry for over 15 years. Bookkeeping education/training: I am a graduate of Monroe Community College (dual major). My majors were Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting as well as Health Care Administration. I have worked in the Accounting field for over 20 years and my specialty is Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable.
