- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started Lucky's Ark Petcare Service to honor Lucky, our rescue dog, who started our own doggy family. We love our paw babies, and at times, it was difficult to find care for them when we went away, if family could not care for them. So we wanted to be that (trustworthy, responsible, and loving) family to care for other loving paw babies. We were already doing it for our family and friends and decided to extend it to new family and friends.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clients are from all over NYC, Upstate, and Long Island (Nassua and Suffolk).We care for cat and doggies in all stages of life. We have experience with animals that need special attention or medication. We have also been able to work with bunnies, fishes, and also house sit and care for your plants.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Porsha, a doggy, we were caring for suffered from seizures and was blind. We took care of her at her place and ours; we were honored that we were there to provide support and love for her and ensure she was never alone and, of course, provided support to her family in the last few days. May she rest in peace. She will also be in our memory and heart.
