- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and I have to continue to obtain continuing education credits to maintain my certification which I really enjoy because they stay current on the latest changes in the fitness industry as well as the newest guidelines , or changes implemented by their organization
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was involved in sports in my high school years : played football and martial arts , then I became involved in weight training which then proceeded to become a competitive powerlifter for 10 yrs with good success. I have as well through that time learned much about nutrition which certainly helped improve my training. So I have been involved in fitness pretty much all of my life and now make a living helping others enjoy exercise too.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I set my clients up with programs to Increase strength and balance , flexibility as well as wt loss and the ability to Improve activities of daily living. Those that have been diagnosed with with chronic conditions or disabilities such as Parkisons disease , diabetes , hypertension ect. Their program would be set up accordingly and monitored to help improve their condition
