- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide a written estimate for the complete job. A more accurate way to price a job is by the square foot or linear foot, this way the customer knows the exact cost of the job. Customer pays for materials cost separate from labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer is I meet the customer at their home and I evaluate the job. Then I provide a written estimate for the work, usually within 24 hours of meeting. The estimate is for labor only. Customer pays for materials separate from labor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was hired in a modular home factory in the eighties. I worked in several different trades with on the job training and had also been a crew chief in four departments. I worked there for 15 years and then went out on my own.
