FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard price for new installations and refinishing of most common flooring. ( Oak, Pine, etc.). Prices change depending on actual floor material, condition, custom designs and colors. Example, a lot of homes older than 50 yrs were finished with shellac or waxed. These finishes are more difficult and time consuming to remove for proper refinishing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact and consult. On the job estimate to discuss customers needs and offer ideas . Open communication with customers throughout job from beginning to completion. Provide customers with product recommendations for future care. Guarantee all work performed to above industry standard in quality and workmanship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began installing hardwood flooring in 1988 for Hoboken Wood Flooring Corp and in 1992 began working as a subcontractor for their installation and sanding division eventually taking on my own new construction builders and homeowners.
