Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stands out for a few reasons. I have a very keen eye for spotting dirt and for finding unique solutions to organizational dilemmas. As a result, my clients enjoy a cleaner home longer. I really enjoy working with people. I have worked in customer service for nearly 20 years. I love making spaces beautiful for my clients, seeing the happiness in their faces when they see a completed area and knowing that I created that for them is a wonderful feeling.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got into my line of work through a hobby and passion of mine, gardening. I've worked in customer service and sales for nearly 20 years. I worked selling windows and doors for 9 years until I was laid off in 2011. This event gave me time to spend in my gardens. I created and cared for several perennial gardens at my house in Schenectady. I had always admired the neighbor's garden at the end of the street. Through my husband at the time who is a contractor, I learned that she wanted me to work in the garden for her. After a few months, another neighbor approached me and became my second client and things grew from there. I decided to add house cleaning to my services offered. I have always been good at making a home shine and doing so efficiently.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Inviting someone into your home to work can be nerve wracking. I would check references the professional offers. If he or she doesn't want a homeowner to call the references, my advice is to move on.
