About this pro

How does your service stand out?

Obviously, our first priority is to give you great photos, but there are a lot of photographers out there capable of that. We do things a bit differently. The focus is on making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Hire us for a wedding and we won't cause any drama. We show up on time and get the shots, letting you enjoy your day. Hire us for an event and You won't have to worry about us. The photobooth will run like clockwork and guests will have fun. Hire us for portraits and we'll give you enough instructions to feel comfortable without eclipsing your personality.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Delivering photos to people who love them might be the best feeling ever. Getting a satisfied message from a bride, client, or family member is something I wish I could put in a bottle.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I work at a photography magazine, I'm constantly talking to top pros and learning interesting things. It's the best education I could possibly ask for.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
It really depends on what you want, but I prefer to just offer the $2,000 everything package. We can adjust, of course, but I like to give everyone everything.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I could never swing a hammer, so I picked up a camera. I'm an editor at the world's biggest photography magazine and if I didn't keep an active portfolio, no one would trust what I say.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I love portrait sessions, but weddings are great, too. We also do corporate events. I like constant challenge, so we try to switch it up.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently show promotional photos for a local Crossfit gym. The subjects were such great sports and amazing athletes. I had a great time and photos came out fantastic.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get a look at a full package before you book and know what you're getting. It's easy to get fooled by a few great images and then end up with a lot of junk. Also, if you find someone who you like, trust them. The more freedom you give someone, the more interesting things usually get.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's every bit as fun as it looks. And if your photographer doesn't look like they're having a great time, you hired the wrong person.
