Excellence Sound Krew
DJ Trev rocked my 6-year-old's birthday party! But what was most impressive was that he took the time to meet with us months before the event, at the venue - to get an idea of what we wanted, and where he'd be working. A true professional :-)Jul 15, 2014Verified
DJ Tervor was outstanding from the first time we spoke about hiring him until he packed up his equipment. I spoke with DJ Trevor several times before the event to discuss what music we wanted for the wedding reception. He knew from a few short descriptions of our guest list exactly what we were looking for. He was highly praised by our guests throughout our event. His professionalism, equipment, and performance was top notch and I would recommend him a New York minute.May 31, 2014Verified

Q & A
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am currently attending Stony Brook University as a Computer Engineering Major. It often crosses with Sound Engineering, which is important to ensuring that the sound I provide sounds amazing. Speaker placement is key. Setting crossovers and frequencies depending on room sizes and speakers used as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started off deejaying family parties. I always loved music and I grew up around many deejays, which back then, they used vinyl records. After a few family parties for Christmas and New Years and Birthdays, family friends asked if they could hire me to deejey their events. I started doing my own radio show as a hobby, and again, I started receiving messages asking if I am available for bookings. It became obvious that I was pretty good at my hobby. I loved what I was doing, and so did many others. I decided to start taking it more seriously and begin deejaying professionally.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I typically receive bookings for Weddings, Birthdays, Sweet 16s, and other private events. Mostly weddings and sweet 16s though. I sometimes play in clubs and lounges, but its not what I prefer.
