- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to apply standard pricing to our type of work. So many factors such as existing conditions, weather, drainage, grading etc. can affect the bottom line. Rather than apply a "one size fits all" approach, we take the time to understand the project fully so there are no unforeseen expenses added on at the last minute.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive the job site address and specifications, we visit the site to take measurements. We also assess any drainage, landscaping or edging that may be necessary in order to provide the best possible end product. Within a few days of the site visit, we send out a proposal for your review. If you have any questions, we are happy to discuss them with you.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Feel free to get multiple estimates, this gives you a better sense of the final costs. As with any construction project, it's often a good idea to take a hard look at the outliers (highest and lowest pricing) and make sure you're getting what you actually need. Are all the options presented? Have you taken into account the entire area? Are there any possible addons that weren't originally presented? We do our best to present all contingencies and options up front so you can make an informed decision and be happy with the your final result.
