FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I really don't have a price until I get a feeling for the job and what it takes to complete then I give the price. When I look over the job that comes into Thumbtack and the budget that the client has to work with, then when I feel I am right for the job I will give the client a good price to get the job. I don't over charge, I price by the time it will take me to do the job, to get the best results for the client. Feel I like to give the client more than what they are paying for.t early isn't about money it is about, quality, having the client satisfied so they will want to hire me again, or refer me to their friends.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first talk with the client to see what kind of image or film they are looking for. I like to get a vision in my mind's eye of the quality or concept they are looking for. Then I give them suggests of how we can work together to achieve their idea. If the budget is going to go over I usually work with the client to pick up the extra cost of the project. Then we make a date to start the project and I finish the project when the client is happy with the job.If the pictures are in need of retouching, of editing or special effects I will work with the client to complete the job even if I have to make less money or use my own money to finish it.
